How to Easily Add Predictability to Your Agile Deliverables

Hi,

So here is the second video. It is from the second series of our collection which is all about getting your Agile project or product delivery under-control.

In an ideal world, we would not work to deadlines. Sadly however, the "Real-World" does not work like that. So when we throw into the conversation the "Agile-World" of forecasts, velocity and burndown / up charts, executives become slightly nervous. How can we therefore, work to deadlines that the "Real-World" imposes yet still deliver using the Agile appraoches we know and love?

In this video therefore, I will ...

  • Explain why certain organisations needs more than Scrum.
  • Force home the point that Agile is perfect for deadline based work.
  • Illustrate why executives and managers get nervous.
  • Show you why contingency based planning is wasteful.
  • Introduce you to a prioritisation scheme, so simple that it is almost embarrassing that few use it.
  • Explain how you can demonstrate that you are in control of the work.

The result is an Agile project that delivers ontime, in scope and sometime under budget. Beat that!
