What is Co-Location and its Real Impact on Teams?

Hi,

Well, you made it! After over an hour of video you have the final part: This is your fifth and sadly final video.

The video itself is the 1st of 6 in the series that explores the benefits of using Agile apporaches in an environment of  "Virtual and Remote Teams".

We all know that co-located teams are better. Yet in today's world, true co-location is a rarity. But rarer than you think. A distributed team is not just on in India or in Eastern Europe, or in a different building. A distributed team is much closer to your desk than you think. Yet it is not just extended communications and time zones that hinder us, but rather something more personal which stops us from getting to know "them".

So, in this video I will be...

  • Explaining what a real remote or virtual team is.
  • Providing an argument that shows most teams are distributed.
  • Illustrating the problem of coffee-time or rather the lack of it.
  • Showing you how to replace the missing coffee-time.

As a result, you will be more aware of the challenges of distributed teams and you will understand what is missing. You'll be able to immediately put into practice the suggestion, well at 16:30 "their" time anyway.

So What is Next?

To continue getting better at being Agile, you can get access to the entire, growing collection for just $257.

But there is a whole lot more... to find out click on this button so that I can explain:
